Zheko Spiridonovは、後解放ブルガリアの彫刻の創始者の一つです。 Spiridinovは、ヨーロッパの主要な文化の中心地の一つの卒業生でした。 当初は1886年にチェコ共和国のベキネにある陶芸学校で教育される啓発省によって送られました。 その後、1892年、彼の同僚Marin Vasilevと共に、彼はシルバーメダルを卒業し、ミュンヘン美術アカデミーで彫刻を学びました。 ソフィア州立造形学校(現代国立芸術アカデミー)を卒業後、彫刻の第一次講師と教授に就任。 3つの機会にディレクターを務めました。 Zheko Spiridonovは、ミュンヘンの学術学校の精神で実行された代表的なイーゼルポートレートを作成しました。 ソフィアとナショナルリバイバルのエンライトナーと革命のヴァルナのバスト記念碑のギャラリーを制作し、19世紀の典型的スタイルでブルガリアの彫刻の最初の裸体を彫刻しました。
