The donor purchased this tricycle at Target around 2008 for her grandson Alister Franklin Wright (b. 2005) of New York to use during visits to her homes in Richmond and Virginia Beach. After several years, he outgrew the piece, and it was then loaned to Melissa Sleeth, a former employee of the Valentine , for use by her son Jeremiah until returned to the Wrights in 2014.
