A black velvet bodice belonging to a resident of the village of Miękinia (near Kraków). Used in the early 20th century. Decorated with colourful floral embroidery, beads, and sequins. Has overlapping pieces of cloth (kaletki) at the bottom, and is trimmed with black metallic thread all around. Widened by sewing on two pieces of velvet at the front slit. Hand sewn.
