From the artists: Original Etched Bronze (Val Bertoia) Gong B-1829. A gong for sound was designed by Val Bertoia for sound quality and then prepared by Printmaking Artist Sculptress, Melissa Strawser, as an intaglio, aquatint etching, intaglio Artist Proof 1/2. She drew directly onto his Bertoia bronze gong and that etched gong was then processed by her through a natural cold patination process. The image created was inspired by a
