In July 1930 Arnold Schönberg and his wife Gertrud Kolisch moved into an apartment in the Meran Corso Hotel at Nürnbergerplatz 3. It was to be their final address in Berlin before they emigrated to the US in 1933. A sideboard was built from this design. Schönberg later took the furniture with him to Los Angeles, where some of it is still owned by the family.
