Sébastien Leclerc’s, показывающий строительство одного фасада Дворца Лувр в Париже, показывает машины, используемые для волочения и поднятия шестидесяти футового камня, чтобы покрыть обе стороны гальванизма. Леклерк показывает машину на левом переднем плане, которая тянет большой камень, находясь на заднем плане, в верхней части гальки и сложной скафоль, краны можно увидеть поднимая и размещая камень. Леклерк был одним из нескольких типографов, которые работали на короля Людовика XIV, помогая документировать его многочисленные строительные кампании и художественные коллекции.
