Бронзино был официальным портретистом при дворе самодержавной семьи Медичи в середине XVI века во Флоренции. Контролируемая атмосфера придворной жизни отражена в небольшом отрыве этого портрета неизвестного няня. С другой стороны, чувство непосредственности передается няней.
