Георгий Митов - младший брат художника Антона Митова. Учился в Альбертинской академии изобразительных искусств в Турине (1893-1898) под проф. Джакомо Гроссо, и окончил с золотой медалью. Из-за ранней смерти художника его творческое наследие состоит из портретов молодых итальянских женщин, а также нудов, которые он рисовал как студент. Они составлены с определенным чувством цвета и с нюансами, применяемыми с легкой и энергетической щеткой.
