Эта копия знаменитой скульптурной группы Лаокоона в музеях Ватикана происходит от так называемого Casa degli Omenoni, где Леони хранил свою коллекцию гипсовых каст самых важных произведений искусства в Риме. Он прибыл в Амброзияну с донорством Bartolomeo Calchi и был немедленно выставлен рядом с копией Michelangelo’s Pietà. Правая рука, которая простирается, а не изгибается, показывает, что этот гипс был сделан после восстановления оригинала в 1532-1533 годах.
