Boceto de grupo escultórico en el que una mujer desnuda, sentada sobre un pilar, sostiene en sus brazos un niño. Sobre su pierna izquierda, cae un manto. Sin embargo, el trabajo debió convencer ampliamente al maestro, ya que, de la pieza, realizó una versión en bronce cuyo pararo se desconoce.
