Этот непрерывный рассказ иллюстрирует битву Кришны с нага Калией, чей огненный яд заставлял реку Ямуна кипеть. На нижних левых Кришна плывет, играя искусно опередив унылую и завидную Калию. Справа, можно разобрать климатический момент, когда Кришна, украшенная женскими овчарами (гописями) на берегу, побеждает Калию, танцуя на его многочисленных головах.
