Ожидания. Аллегорическое исполнение с голым мужчиной, который стреляет стрелой с луком, у ног собаки. На заднем плане стилизованы волны и птицы в небе. Стеновая живопись сделана для интерьера Берлажа, который был выставлен на выставке Bouwkunst в Лейпциге в 1913 году.
