В 1926 году Xu Beihong было 32. Надпись на нижней левой стороне картины гласит: “Beihong, зима года Bingyin (1926).” В своей автобиографии, In Xu Beihong’s Own Words, художник написал: «Я сделал большую работу в год Биньина (1926), и некоторые из них были исключительными.
