This ceramic piece was designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1985 for the Tendentse collection. “Many years ago I happened to lay my hands on a big book with photographs of Aztec pottery. The colours of the pottery were pale, very dull and dusty as if the Aztecs had used coloured powders in place of vitreous enamels for their pottery. That idea of ​​objects that were so soft, so fragile, so temporary that they
