Red damask cotton dress, sleeveless with silhouette in central part. Ankle-length and a small tail on the back panel. It has a V-neck in front and back, lower cut at the back. In front there are two pairs of pleats on both sides, central cut vertically gathered. Wavy and wrinkled gather below the bust; from here a flounce in front which is shorter at the front than at the back. From below the bust to the hip line, there is a smooth area. At the hip line, there is a vertical split to the low front and back. The hem is also uneven (shorter in front than behind). Fastens on the left side with four gold metal fasteners. The change in silhouette shape in the 30s led Jeanne Lanvin to experiment throughout her entire career with skirt volumes. As in this case, the body remains tight and fitted, the bust recaptures prominence compared to previous decades while the skirt is filled with folds at the back to give greater volume and is decorated with a small overskirt that runs through the space between the waist and hips.
