Zhang Daoxing was born in 1935 in Cangxian County, Hebei Province. He is now a national first-class artist and enjoys the special allowance of the State Council. He is vice-president of the Chinese Painting Society, vice-president of the Academy of Fine Arts and Calligraphy of the People
