The pot titled Tlatlana is by the Zambia artist Catherine Mweemba Kabwe (b.1968) in 2018. A Tlatlana is a basket made from grass. Short Biography: Catherine Mweemba Kabwewas born in Kitwe in Zambia in 1968. In 1985 she met Martin Kabwe, at that time he was a student at the Mindolo Ecumenical Foundation pottery. In 1993 Catherine and her family relocated to Botswana where Martin was to assume a post at the Pelegano Pottery, later the Gabane Pottery. In 2018 she became a member of Ceramics Southern African (CSA). She exhibited in Pretoria in 2018.
