Free copy to the portrait of Frans Hals from 1643 in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Part of a series of portraits of the directors of the Rotterdam Chamber of the United East India Company, made for the New East India House from 1698 on the Boompjes in Rotterdam.
