A carved wooden sculpture by the South African female artist Yolande van Niekerk titled, Praying Girl dated 2001. Short Biography: Yolande van Niekerk was born in Pretoria and studied at the University of Pretoria, today she owns her own art school in the city of Pretoria specialising in oil, acrylic and Watercolor painting, as well as all types of drawing and sculpture.
