A drawing titled Black Birds by the Zimbabwean artist Josiah Manzi (1933-2022). He was part of the founding members of the Tengenenge art group. The tobacco farmer and owner of the farm Tengenenge, Tom Blomfield, started an art group due to the large deposits of Soapstone on the Farm. Originally Manzi was a farmworker but his parents originally came from Malawi in 1918 and he was seen as a Malawian. Therefore he had to change careers due to the new rules imposed by Ian Smiths Government in 1967 about immigrants.
