Saul and David is an oil on canvas painting by the dutch painter and etcher Rembrandt van Rijn. It was painted in 1655-60. The deep human suffering of the tyrant king was never expressed so well as in this work. This painting (130,5 x 164 cm) is currently housed in the Mauritshuis, The Hague.
