Le peintre et son mannequin. Intérieur d'un atelier de peinture où un peintre assis derrière son âne travaille sur une peinture d'une jeune femme nue. Le modèle est appuyé sur une chaise avec un genou. Sur le sol, ses vêtements sont nombreux. Un homme souriant avec un chapeau regarde sur l'épaule de l'artiste. Sur la gauche une fenêtre, sur l'écoutille ouverte est une photo accrochée. Copie à un mezzotint de Nicolaes Verkolje à Arnold Houbraken.
