Cello che apparteneva al violoncellista portoghese Guilhermina Suggia (1885-1950), una delle prime donne a perseguire una carriera professionale giocando violoncello. Suggia ereditò questo violoncello dal padre Augusto Suggia, violoncellista del Real Teatro de São Carlos e insegnante del Conservatorio della Musica di Lisbona. In onore di suo padre, Suggia lasciò questo strumento in eredità al Conservatorio Nazionale di Lisbona, avendo poi integrato la collezione del Museo. Il violoncello è stato costruito da un elemento della ben nota famiglia di produttori di strumenti inglesi, Lockey Hill, molto probabilmente Henry Lockey Hill (1774-1835), che è dedotto da informazioni sulla sua etichetta.
