Achille ist eine 12-Pfund-Kanone aus Bronze, die 1746 in Lyon von der Gründerin Jean II Maritz, Master of the Foundries of France, gegründet wurde. Die Anordnung der Dekoration rund um die gesamte Schusswaffe richtet sich an die königliche Ordnung vom 7. Oktober 1732, und dieses Stück wird von Jean-Florent de Vallière (1667–1759) unterzeichnet. Diese reiche Dekoration ist so platziert, dass das Schwanzstück geformt wurde, um den Kopf des gallinaceous Vogels darzustellen.
