Farmacie in Rinascimento L'Italia era legata a corti reali, ospedali o monasteri. I loro scaffali sono stati rivestiti con file di vasi di ceramica splendidamente dipinti per rimedi solidi e liquidi. La forma più comune per i solidi era un albarello, un tipo importato prima in Europa dalla Siria. Infilati in vita per facilitare la movimentazione, sono stati utilizzati anche nelle case come vasi di fiori o per immagazzinare il cibo.
