Claus Mroczynski was an American/German artist, born in Essen, Germany in 1941 and died in New Hope, PA in 2006. He was known for his mixed media collages and his photography, particularly his series 'Sacred Places of the Southwest'. He had several solo exhibitions and his works have been auctioned. He also wrote a book about his photography.
