Wayne Higby is an American artist working in ceramics. He was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 1943. Higby is considered a 'visionary of the American Crafts Movement' and recognized as one of seven artists who are 'genuine living legends representing the best of American artists in their chosen medium' by the American Craft Museum. He is known for his depictions of the American landscape using tile, vessels, sculpture, and installation.
