Donald Marc Blumberg, known as Donald Brooks, was an American costume designer and stylist born on January 10, 1928, in New Haven, Connecticut. He died on August 1, 2005, in Brookhaven, New York. Donald Brooks was one of the creators of the 'American Look' in fashion in the 1950s and 1960s, along with other designers. He was also a designer for the theater and screen, and won several awards for his work, including an Emmy Award and three Academy Award nominations.
