MyeongBeom Kim is a South Korean artist born in Busan in 1976. He received his MFA in sculpture from the School of The Art Institute of Chicago in 2008 and previously studied environmental sculpture at the University of Seoul. Kim is known for his aerial and subtle installations that play upon tensions of equilibrium, using the codes of surrealism and exploring the boundaries between nature and the absurd. He currently lives and works in Buan, South Korea.
