Melinda Bula is an award-winning quilt artist, pattern designer, and instructor. She lives in Bakersfield, California and has been sewing since she was a young girl. Melinda has been in love with fabric all of her life and knew when she was 16 years old that she was going to be an artist. She studied art in college and has been creating quilts and teaching others how to quilt for many years. Melinda's quilts have been exhibited in museums and galleries around the world, and she has won numerous awards for her work. She is the author of several books on quilting and has her own line of quilting patterns and fabric kits.
