Gaia, also known as Andrew Pisacane, is an American street artist born in 1988 in New York City. He has received significant museum showings and critical recognition for his work. Gaia is based in Baltimore and has created large-scale murals worldwide, often incorporating historical and sociological references to the neighborhoods where he works. He is also a teacher, teaching two classes a semester at his alma mater, the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).
