Diego Rafael Perrone Vienes is a retired Uruguayan footballer who was born in Montevideo, Uruguay on November 17, 1979. He is recognized for being the all-time leading scorer for Danubio F.C. with 72 goals. Perrone played as a striker and has played for various clubs around the world including Atlas and León in Mexico, Lugano in Switzerland, Catania in Italy, Levadiakos in Greece, and Olimpia Asunción in Paraguay. He is particularly remembered for scoring the goal via 'taco' in the final of the 2004 Uruguayan Primera División, which helped Danubio win the match 1-0 against Nacional. Perrone is also recognized for being the leading scorer in Danubio's history, having scored a total of 72 goals for the club.
