Biography:

Enrique Sobisch was born in Mendoza, Argentina in 1930 and died in 2012. He was a student of Ramón Gómez Cornet at the Academía de Bellas Artes in Mendoza. He was a painter and sculptor, known for his abstract and figurative works. He was a member of the Generación del 60, a group of Argentine artists who emerged in the 1960s and were characterized by their experimentation with new forms and techniques. He had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Argentina and abroad, and his works are part of important public and private collections. He was also a professor at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo and the Universidad de Mendoza.
