Francesco Verla was an Italian painter of the Renaissance period, born in Villaverla, Italy in 1470 and died in Rovereto, Italy in 1521. He was a follower of Bartolomeo Montagna and was influenced by Mantegna and Perugino. He is described by some as emerging from the School of Vicenza.
