Franco Mehlhose is an Argentine artist born in La Plata, Argentina in 1990. He graduated as a Professor of Arts with a focus on Engraving and Printed Art from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of La Plata. In 2010, he co-founded the artistic collective Felina Súper Heroína. His first solo exhibition was held in 2017 at the Sala Microespacio del Museo de Bellas Artes Emilio Petorutti. He also participated in the project Volcán directed by Guillermina Mongan and traveled through the province of Buenos Aires. In 2018, he received his degree as a Licenciado and worked as an agent for the Centro de Investigaciones Artísticas (CIA) under Roberto Jacoby and Kiwi Sainz. He was part of the collective La Baranda and exhibited in various spaces in La Plata, including Cósmiko Galería, Mal de Muchos, Teatro Argentino, Galería BUM, Centro de Arte de la UNLP, and CABA: UV estudios, El Universo, Centro Cultural de la Memoria Haroldo Conti. He also exhibited in Paraguay and Chile at Espacio Bruto with La Baranda and Isabel Croxatto Galería, invited by the artists Chiachio and Giannone. In 2021, he received the Mención Edgardo Antonio Vigo award at the Salón de Arte Joven del Museo Emilio Pettoruti. In 2022, he produced Poesía for Festival Danza Afuera at Teatro Argentino de La Plata and exhibited in Espacio Colón, Córdoba. In 2023, he won the First Prize in the Graphic discipline at the Salón Nacional organized by Palais de Glace.
