Biography:

Guntis Strupulis was a Latvian artist. He was born on September 24, 1933 in Madona, Latvia. Son of Artūrs Strupulis and Anna (Burdajs) Strupulis. He was a husband of Zenta Strupule and father of Bils Strupulis. He died on June 15, 1974 in Jelgava, Latvia. He was a surrealist and symbolist painter, known for his works in oil on panel. He participated in exhibitions in Latvia and his works are held in the collections of the Latvian National Museum of Art and the Jelgava History and Art Museum.
