Biografi:

Ján Mudroch was a Slovak painter and educator. He was born on March 28, 1909, in Sotina, Slovakia. Mudroch studied art privately with Gustáv Mallý in Bratislava, and later at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague with Arnošt Hofbauer. He was the first principal of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, and was a co-founder of a group that published surrealist magazines and anthologies. Mudroch's work is characterized by a never-ending struggle to explore a new form, and he is often associated with the Generation 1909 movement. He died on February 4, 1968, in Bratislava, Slovakia.
