Biography:

Jerzy Miecznik was a Polish artist born in Warsaw in 1936. He was the founder of the Miecznik Studio, a family-owned engraving and bronze-working company that was one of the most essential artistic craft companies in Poland. Jerzy Miecznik was also a geologist and author, contributing to publications such as 'Uran w Polsce – historia poszukiwañ i perspektywy odkrycia z³ó¿' in 2011. He died in 2010.
