Freeman Lau Siu-Hong is an internationally recognized product designer and artist from Hong Kong. He is the brains behind some of Hong Kong’s most iconic designs and is renowned for his highly reputed ‘Chairplay’ series, which was sought after by museums and collectors from all over the world. Lau studied at Hong Kong Polytechnic and is now a partner in Kan & Lau Design Consultants. He has won over 100 awards in local and international design competitions. Lau is also a member of the Election Committee of Hong Kong, 2021–2026 and was awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star in 2002 for his contributions to the design industry. In 2022, he was selected as one of the ten classic TVB dramas being honoured for a new Youku and TVB programme.
