Lawrence used a variety of methods to capture his aerial images, including ladders, towers, balloons, and even kites. His most famous photograph is likely 'Shooting the Chicago Fire', taken in 1906. Lawrence's work was not limited to aerial views; he also took portraits, including a famous series of photographs of Theodore Roosevelt. Lawrence died in 1938.
