Luca Scacchetti was an Italian architect, designer and theorist of architecture. He was born in Milan in 1952 and died in Milan in 2015. He graduated in architecture at the Politecnico di Milano in 1975. He has held teaching activities in various institutions such as the Politecnico di Milano, the European Institute of Design in Milan and the University of Camerino. He has collaborated with companies such as Tecno, Rubelli, Riva 1920, Cizeta and many others. He has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Compasso d'Oro in 1998 for the Ianus executive system.
