Martin Lipman is a university lecturer at Leiden University in the Netherlands. He is an assistant professor at the Institute for Philosophy and is interested in Methodology in Metaphysics, Philosophy of Mind, Perception, Philosophy of Physical Science, and the application of the concept of 'relativity' to various phenomena such as the nature of time and consciousness. He is also known for his work in the field of Philosophy for Children, specifically the approach known as the Lipman approach, which is used to practice philosophy with children in France. Lipman is also known for his paper 'On the fragmentalist interpretation of special relativity'.
