Biography:
Nidhal Chamekh is a Tunisian visual artist, born in 1985 in Menzel Bourguiba, Tunisia. He is known for his drawings and installations that explore themes of power, identity, and history. Chamekh studied at the Institute of Fine Arts in Tunis and later at the Sorbonne in Paris, where he received his PhD in Visual Arts. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, the National Museum of Carthage in Tunisia, and the Venice Biennale. Chamekh currently lives and works in Paris, France.
