Biography:

Sophie de Roumanie, also known as Sofia de Roumanie, was born on October 29, 1957 in Tatoi, Greece. She is the fourth daughter of King Michael I of Romania and Queen Anne of Romania. Sophie is a photographer and is known for her work in Romania, where she currently resides. She is dedicated to supporting the Royal Family’s efforts to celebrate Romania nationally and internationally, and raise awareness of the country’s culture and history. Sophie has also presented an exhibition of her photographs, showcasing Romania’s historical, rural, and cultural heritage. She is fourth in the line of succession to the former Romanian throne and headship of the House of Romania as her elder sister Margareta's heir presumptive.
