Carolina Montagne Roux, also known as Caroline Montagne, was a French haute couture fashion designer. She was born in Paris in 1858 and died in Barcelona in 1941. She founded a fashion house in Barcelona and was the friend and master of Jeanne Lanvin. She is known for her elegant and sophisticated designs, which were inspired by the Parisian fashion of the time. Her work was highly regarded in Barcelona, where she became one of the most prominent designers of the industrial bourgeoisie. Today, her designs are still admired and can be found in contemporary collections, including at the Design Museum of Barcelona.
