Dawei Shi received the B.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from the Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in control systems from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Alberta, ... He is a Professor & Director, Institute of Intelligent Sensing & Motion Control, School of Automation, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). His research involves the development of novel control algorithms for application to the artificial pancreas.
