Ernst August Leuteritz was a porcelain painter born in Meißen, Germany in 1818. He studied at the Kunstakademie in Dresden and became the leader of the model department at the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory. Leuteritz is considered one of the most prolific designers of the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory in the 19th century. He died in 1893.
