Johann Georg Schreiber was a cartography publisher in Saxony, born in Leipzig in 1676 and died in 1750. He is one of the earliest cartography publishers in Saxony, and some of the maps in his atlas were done by cartographer August Friedrich Wilhelm Sadebeck. He is known for his travel atlas in approximately A4 format, including the map of the southern part of Upper Saxony district.
