Parna Lapiashvili, also known as Parnaoz Georgievich Lapiashvili, was born on May 9, 1917, in the village of Mirzaani, Dedoplistskaro district, Georgia. He was a designer and pedagogue. Lapiashvili graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. He was a faculty member at the Faculty of Theater Painting at the Tbilisi Academy of Art, where he significantly influenced the artistic development of his students, including the renowned Georgian painter Temo Machavariani.
