биография:

Migita Toshihide (1862-1925) was a Japanese artist who created work in traditional ukiyo-e prints and painting in the Western style. He was apprenticed to Tsukioka Yoshitoshi and studied with Kinisawa Shimburō, who had trained in Britain. Migita's work was published in newspapers and magazines starting in 1877, and his portraits of kabuki actors (yakusha-e) were well known. His war prints (senso-e), in triptych format, are considered to be important historical documents, documenting Japan's participation in the First Sino-Japanese War and the Russo-Japanese War.
